12th October 2008 - Just uploaded a bunch of new material that we have done since the last update. New tracks by Criatura, Bringers of Pestilence, Man of The Hour, Helps not Coming and Vision Maitreya. A bunch of varying genres to envelope your eardums! We have done a bunch of Myspaces this month too which I will link when final approval is done. Chris Maguire 22nd September 2008 - Another amazing month we've had at Screamadelica Studios. We've been up to A LOT again as usual. We have just uploaded a bunch of brand new tracks that were recorded this month. The Winch House album is now fully done and dusted and I have uploaded one sneak preview track "Oh The Irony!" for you guys all to check out. I'm sure you will bum what you hear.

We did two more tracks for the debut The Day Before Mortality album which will be released in 09 one of which 'A Shotgun from Insanity' is also included in the new songs uploaded to the player.

The crazy Sicknote boys were back in the studio this month to lay down two more tracks for an upcoming EP, the one 'Death Before Employment' is included in the playlist and this track reminds me of great 90s hard house. Like those Tidy Trax white label vinyls you used to get. Well banging!

Other notable work is three tracks we did for fairly new Welsh rock act Mondays Headline. The song included on the player 'One More Night' includes a full string section that was scored by myself so go check out this bohemoth of a track.

30th August 2008 - Unbelievably it has been another month and we haven't given any updates so we thought we would treat you this month by putting together a brand new Myspace design!! Hope you like it!!

OK, so what have we been up to? Currently Winch House are in the studio putting together their debut album which will be released early 09!! We are also currently working on the debut Kane'd Album with a yet undefined release date. People that have been priveleged enough to hear any part of both bands albums all agree that both these artists albums will be our best work to date so keep your eyes and ears peeled for any glimpse of these tracks.

We just finished a brand new really catchy Welsh Pop song called -Hufen Ia for the band Clinigol and we really love the outcome. I am sure that this song will do really well within Wales and beyond if the right people get behind it. The song is on the player for your listening pleasure.

Winch House released their debut single on our label on August 18th and we finished the HD video at the same time that can be seen in our videos. What are you waiting for?? Go check it out right now and fully appreciate the awesomeness that is Winch House.

Fish In a Tree recorded their entire new EP with us this month which was an absolute blast and resulted in all sorts of tom foolery including mummifying the guitar player!! So funny. A track of this EP is up for your listening pleasure.

Foreman recorded their debut EP at Screamadelica this month and I really love how it came out, pure youth and racous energy. Only a three piece but a really amazingly wild sound made by all. These boys are awesome and again massive laughs were had by all during these sessions. Oh ah, oh Boys.....

26th July 2008 - Well what a crazy month this has been. We have been up to so much. Firstly we filmed a 3 camera live feature for the rock band Kane'd at The Point in Cardiff Bay. We have had Kane'd in to help them record 3 brand new tracks a few sey photoshoots and we even filmed a TV commercial for their German campaign promoting the new drink Cool Ayran. These girls have been taking up a lot of our time!

We have also completed the debut single for Silk and Siege which is getting a video made for it next month at some point. Not just any video but a baller video including hot cars (Ferrari's, Lambourghinis etc), hundreds of hot ass chicks and every room in Oceana's in Cardiff on a closed set.

We have just finished the exclusive Altsounds version of The Outlines track "In Light of Recent News" both up tempo and disco.

We currently have Foreman in the studio rec ording their debut EP.

July is also jingle month for us as we have done a jingle for Man of The Hour's appearance as band of the week on the Nick Grimshaw show on Radio 1 and the audio track for the Cool Ayran Kane'd commercial. We have also done a bunch of other shit with a bunch of other artists including finishing the debut Bleed Electric album and associated artwork. It's been a busy one and it's set to get even busier!! 6th July 2008 - Man how shit have we been updating the news lately?? VERY isthe answer. Updates are as follows. We have just completed the debut EP from Haverfordwest band My Significant Other. Four tracks and a music video that will make even the dullest music fan go wild. These guys are ace and are gonna go far with their soon to be grade 8 drummer being a mere 15 years old!!! Also we filmed and are finishing off the Live DVD and behind the scenes for Kaned who are going to be massive. We found ourselves asking "Who's your favourite Kaned girl" and so will you before you know it. Theres loads more but not enough time to write it so just keep checking back and see what we got on offer.

22nd June 2008 - Bunch of crazy stuff has been happening since the last news. Firstly the Winch House video is almost completed so expect to be seeing it at some point in the near future. We have uploaded a couple of new tracks to the player. A brand new one from Alkalay and the first ever Man of The Hour track. I'm sure you will all be well into both tracks!! Coming soon we're proud to say that we have an exclusive track from The Outline an absolutely ace band from Los Angeles that we were luckily enough to have in the studio on Friday 20th June. Keep your eyes and ears peeled people :D.

14th June 2008 - We have just uploaded the new Hey You Guys track to the player and we are sure you will agree that it is freaking awesome!! We also just finished up the trailer for the Music Video we have almost completed for Winch House's single "Sweet Taste of Summer". Check it out here

8th June 2008 - Long Time no news again!! We have been ridiculously busy over the past few weeks working hard on the promotion of our newest signing Winch House!! On Sunday we filmed the music video for their first single Sweet Taste of Summer which is looking blinding! We also uploaded a bunch of new music we have been working on over the past couple of weeks to the player for you all to enjoy. I will try and update you as soon as possible.

22nd May 2008 - Man how slack have we been lately with the uploading of tracks and posting news to you guys!!!! VERY. Sorry for that but we have been very busy over the past month. Altsounds.com has undergone a major revamp and all bands can now sell their music on it for free!! So what are you guys waiting for?? Get on Altsounds.com right now if you're not already and start selling your music :D.

We have worked with a bunch of bands over the past month aswell. We have just completed Mark Maguire's debut album, done a mix tape for cardiff based rappers Silk and Siege, done a few tracks for Sarabeth Tucek from Los Angeles, more tracks for Escape the Progress, video feature for Four Year Strong, a track for New Model Me, Lights Alive new tracks and sound and some crazy drum work for Owen from The Story So Far. We will be adding all of these to the player when we get chance so ch ch ch ch ch ch check it out :D.

We are gonna be updating this more frequently going forward so please keep checking back to see all our newest work.

20th April - Another new Sweet Decline song and I must say the best yet! These boys show us this time a new side to their band and their influences. Pulling out a very 90's - Alice in Chains feel this track shows that these boys really are a force to be reckoned with! The song can be checked out by listeneing to our audio portfolio.

19th April - Just completed recording the awesome Metal Band from Swansea called "Final Score". This has some amazing beatdowns in it and will make you guys want to windmill like fuck. Make sure you learn where this is in the song so that you can go crazy at the bands local shows! You can hear this song in our audio sampler on their Myspace page. It was amazing fun working with these boys and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

18th April - Over the past few days we have been busy working on page designs for the newest Altsounds.com Mag"E"Zine which is going to be one hell of a bumper edition. Check out Altsounds.com and keep your eye out for the new Mag"E"Zine when it comes out - which should be very soon.

15th April - We were comissioned by EMI to do a Cage The Elephant Art Installation for their apperance at The Camden Crawl. This 45 second video only and fully loopable video work will be displayed at the Camden Crawl on Friday and Saturday and will be displayed on 8-10 video Screens consecutively. This art installation although only 45 seconds long took us 5 days to complete!! This is due to the custom animation work that we incorporated based upon the album cover etc. Check out take 1 and take 2 of our art installation video by CLICKING HERE.

11th April 2008 - We were lucky enough to have Nizlopi come in to the studio today for a live session. For those of you not aware of who these guys are they are a double bass playing, beatboxing acoustic duo that must be seen or heard to be fully appreciated. Don't just write these off as the dudes that did the JCB song that one Xmas. They are worth a lot more than that and are MUCH better than you would imagine them to be.

10th April 2008 - Just finished off the newest Altsounds.com A Day In The Life Of... Feature. It details a day in the life of Cage The Elephant who are an amazing up and coming band from the US.
